Katerina Krjanina Polymer Clay Jewelry
Polymer Clay Jewelry
Katerina Krjanina is a European-born artist known for her expressive fine art and distinctive handcrafted polymer clay jewelry. Living and working in Palm Coast, Florida, she brings her deep artistic experience into every medium she explores, from oil and watercolor to the intricate world of wearable art. Her jewelry is created entirely by hand, with each piece reflecting a unique vision – delicate earrings, pendants, brooches, necklaces, and bracelets that are often made to order. These works are more than accessories; they are miniature artworks shaped with care, color, and texture, using specialized tools and detailed sculpting techniques.

Katerina’s Polymer Clay Jewelry
Krjanina’s polymer clay pieces often feel as though they carry a sense of magic. Inspired by nature, folk tales, and ancient legends, her designs come alive with floral motifs, whimsical patterns, and a sense of story. Her fine art sensibility flows directly into her jewelry-making process, allowing her to play with contrast, light, and form in a way that makes each item vibrant and expressive. Whether working on a single-copy earring set or a custom necklace, she maintains a deep commitment to craftsmanship and originality.
In her studio, Katerina builds her pieces from scratch, conditioning the clay, shaping it layer by layer, and embedding her vision with every detail. The result is wearable art that feels personal and timeless. In addition to her own creative practice, she teaches art at Vivo Art Studio in Palm Coast, offering private and group classes, including workshops in polymer clay for both children and adults. Her work continues to appear in exhibitions in the U.S. and Europe, and her jewelry remains a beautiful expression of her lifelong passion for art and storytelling.
About Katerina Krjanina and her Art
Katerina is a European-born visual artist whose creative expression spans oil painting, watercolor, soft pastel, drawing, photography, and polymer clay jewelry. Now based in Palm Coast, Florida, she operates Vivo Art Studio, where she shares her passion for the visual arts with learners of all ages.
Her fine art work, whether landscapes, portraits, or still lifes, is guided by a sophisticated interplay of color, light, and texture. She layers vibrant pigments in oil painting to evoke depth and movement. In watercolors she gracefully handles wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry techniques to generate soft transitions, atmospheric effects, and emotional immediacy. Her pastel drawings often feature natural motifs such as flora, fauna, and birds, rendered with a gentle realism and dreamy vibrancy and attention to texture and tone.
Parallel to her fine art, Krjanina crafts distinctive polymer clay jewelry – earrings, pendants, brooches, bracelets, lockets, and matching sets – each piece entirely handmade using wooden tools and needles to carve micro-level detail. These pieces are conceived as miniature sculptures, with color and pattern built into the clay itself – no additional paint is added. Many are one-of-a-kind, while others can be made to order in custom palettes or styles.
Her creative vision is steeped in imagination and symbolism drawn from nature, folk tales, and myth. She calls her art “full of magic and imagination,” and infuses her jewelry designs with echoes of ancient legend, natural forms, and delicate balance in color composition.
